    From hen parties and birthdays to corporate events and family celebrations, our private art sessions offer a relaxed and enjoyable way to spend time together and try something creative. Each event is designed around your group and hosted in our bright, welcoming studio in Edinburgh’s New Town, with friendly tutors guiding the process step by step, no experience needed.

  • About our Events

    We design every private event around your group, with a selection of inspiration to choose from. This might be a popular celebratory theme for a hen party, a shared subject for a group of friends, or a creative focus suited to a corporate team.

    When you arrive, you’ll be welcomed into our bright Canonmills studio and offered an apron, a seat at your easel and a drink to settle in. Our professional artist tutors guide the session step by step, creating an atmosphere that feels friendly, informal and inclusive. No experience is needed, and everyone is supported throughout.

    Events typically last around two hours, but we’re happy to be flexible depending on your plans. We’re also very open to discussing ideas or adapting themes where needed.

    What's included?

    Each private event includes a guided art session led by one of our professional artist tutors, with all materials included.

    Refreshments are included for the occasion, with Prosecco or a non-alcoholic option available for over 21s. The focus is on creating a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable taking part.

    Group size: minimum 8, maximum 25

    For larger groups, or where studio capacity isn’t suitable, we may be able to deliver events at your venue. Please get in touch to discuss.
    Hen parties: for groups of 10 or more, the bride goes free

  • Hen Parties

    Our hen parties are relaxed, creative and designed to be genuinely enjoyable for everyone taking part. They’re a lovely way to spend time together, whether your group is full of keen painters or complete beginners.

    Groups can choose from a selection of inspiration, including popular playful, celebratory themes such as Paint the Groom, as well as more classic or relaxed subjects. Our tutors guide the session step by step, keeping the atmosphere light, inclusive and fun, with plenty of encouragement along the way.

    Hen parties typically last around two hours, though we’re happy to be flexible depending on your plans. For groups of ten or more, the bride goes free.

    Corporate & Team-Building Events

    Our corporate events offer teams the chance to step away from the day-to-day and connect in a different setting. Using the creative process encourages fresh thinking, collaboration and a more relaxed way of working together. Sessions are designed to be inclusive and accessible, with clear guidance from our professional artist tutors so that everyone can take part, regardless of experience.

    Events can be hosted in our New Town studio, or, depending on your requirements, we may also be able to deliver sessions at your workplace or chosen venue. Formats can be tailored to suit your group, or delivered as one of our established event styles.

    We have over ten years’ experience delivering creative events for organisations including Baillie Gifford, Skyscanner, Google, Arup International and Walter Scott Bank. Pricing: from £55 per person + VAT

  • Pricing & Booking

    Private events are priced from £55 per person, which includes all materials, refreshments and a guided session with one of our professional tutors.

    Corporate and team-building events are priced from £55 per person + VAT, with options to tailor the format depending on your group and venue.

    To secure your date, we require a 50% deposit, with the remaining balance due one month before your event. A one-week reservation period is offered while details are confirmed. All events are payable by bank transfer. Payments made via PayPal are subject to a small fee.
